Class 2 and 3: General Knowledge Quizzes

General Knowledge classes on the theme “My surroundings and Me” were taken up in class 2 on 05 and 8th July and in class 3 on 04th July. The questions were compiled using library books and trusted internet sources. Questions on plants and animals were also included in the overall subject matter.

Since children enjoy group quizzes, two teams were formed and named after their favourite character. Each child got a turn to answer a simple question based on themes set up by the teacher. Positive points were given for right answers, but negative points were given for noise and indiscipline in the team.

This encouraged children to collaborate and work in groups. They also helped each other to learn more. The team members supported each other as they wanted their team to win.
