Activity – Letter to Santa
Aim – to learn to write an informal letter to Santa
The month of December being Christmas season, the activity of writing a letter to Santa was conducted. Students of class 3 discussed what good deeds they did throughout the year as Santa gifts those children who behave well. In their letter, students requested for some gifts from Santa Clause. They showed a lot of enthusiasm to make the letter. They wrote and decorated it with stickers, colourful borders and pictures. This activity was an integration of English with Art and craft as well as Math. Students measured the paper, drew line segments and wrote according to the space. This made their work neater and writing legible.
